David Bowie – Les hommages (2)

Le monde de la musique s’exprime, 2e édition

Allez, comme le premier article sur les hommages a bien fonctionné, je vous offre une 2e tournée

Beth Ditto : Safe trip home, beloved soul! free download of my acoustic cover of ‘Moonage Daydream’ here : https://www.dropbox.com/s/czj87zh71jl4wz6/Moonage%20Daydream.mp3?dl=0

Bruce Springsteen : Over here on E Street, we’re feeling the great loss of David Bowie. David was a visionary artist and an early supporter of our music. Always changing and ahead of the curve, he was an artist whose excellence you aspired to. He will be sorely missed.

Europe : Dear Friends. Just learned that David Bowie has passed away. Without any doubt, one of my biggest influences of all times. There are no words to to describe what I’m feeling at this time. so for now, just tears, and some of the most amazing music ever created on my stereo……..The governor has moved on. The greatest of them all!

Placebo : Dearest David. Wherever you are now, I miss you. Not only do I miss you but my heart is broken. You were my idol, then you became my mentor and my friend. I learnt so much from you, just by being in your presence, the conversations we had and, of course, watching you perform. You always had time for me. My band and I were tiny when we first met. Nonetheless , you took us under your wing. You believed in us and gifted us with so many fantastic opportunities. Without you, your tutelage and your wisdom, I don’t think I would be where I am today, as an artist but also as a person. For that I will be eternally grateful. Float around the ether, David. Bounce gracefully off planets light-years away as you become one with the Universe, as you dive into the Great Unknown. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Iman, Lexi and Duncan, whose hearts I know are far more broken than mine. As for me, I will treasure every memory of every moment we spent together. Dear David, beautiful man and force of nature, you are immortal. You live beyond the veil of the big sleep. Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo. Namaste

Paul McCartney : Very sad news to wake up to on this raining morning. David was a great star and I treasure the moments we had together. His music played a very strong part in British musical history and I’m proud to think of the huge influence he has had on people all around the world. I send my deepest sympathies to his family and will always remember the great laughs we had through the years. His star will shine in the sky forever

Alice Cooper : It’s hard to know exactly what to say when you hear of someone’s passing. I know that I have certainly lost one of my life-time Rock and Roll theatrical comrades in David Bowie. We both started in theatrical Rock N Roll at the same time, and in some cases we challenged each other to go farther and push the envelope. The loss of David Bowie will be hard to swallow for everyone. He leaves behind a rich history of musical and cultural experimentation and invention that will rarely be seen again, if ever. He was one of a kind. The man that fell to Earth has gone back to the planet that he came from. Condolences to his family and fans.

Owlle : HERO !!!! David Bowie Forever

Rob Zombie : How many more legends can we stand to lose this year? This is so fucking horrible.
